“The immune system has always fascinated me,” said Berenice Mbiribindi, MSc, PhD, a postdoctoral scholar in the Transplant Immunology Lab. “A large variety of immune cells exists to help us fight cancer and microbes, and to keep us healthy, but I have a great interest in natural killer (NK) cells.”
